Affiliate Programs
One of the best affiliate resources for digital products is Clickbank.com. They’re both a payment processor and one of the largest distributors of digital products on the internet. The best thing about Clickbank is that they have a built in affiliate management system.
If you deliver your products through them (which we recommend if you plan on selling your products off of eBay) they will process credit card orders for you and will also enable others to promote your products as your affiliate.
In the same manner, you can sign up for a free Clickbank account and start recommending any product in their collection for a cut of the profits (provided the product is set up to accept affiliates- (most are). Go ahead and get your free account today at:
There are also several affiliate programs that allow you to sell physical products and services. The biggest programs are Commission Junction www.cj.com, Link Share www.linkshare.com, and Share-A-Sale www.shareasale.com. It’s a good idea to check out these websites and see what they have to offer.
When you join any affiliate program, you are given a special tracking link. The link sets a cookie in your visitor’s browser that lets the merchant know that they were referred by you. This is how your commissions are calculated. If you’re selling an eBook, you simply place your affiliate links throughout the book wherever you give a product recommendation.
